This ore, which is a mixture of chromic iron andalumina, is chiefly associated with magnesian rock, resemblingolivine in composition, named Dunite by Dr. stuartiana, F. Thisname is not much used, but is corrupted into Tookytook(q. (pronouncedmerry), a Maori war-club; a casse-te^te, or awar-axe, from a foot to eighteen inches in length, and made ofany suitable hard material--stone, hard wood, whalebone.
